Bro. Steve Brumbelow
Bro. Steve Brumbelow was born in Freeport, Texas in 1953. Raised in a pastor's home, he was born again at age 5 and surrendered to preach at age 11. He preached his first sermon at 12 and conducted Revival Meetings from age 15 to 23. At 23 years of age he assumed the pastorate of Cross Lanes Baptist Church in Charleston, West Virginia, where he pastored for fourteen and a half years. He has served the Southern Baptist Convention in various capacities on the National level. He re-entered Evangelism in 1991 and has conducted over 550 Revival Meetings. He has led Southview Baptist Church since 2004. Pastor Steve and his wife, Nelda, married in 1972. They have 2 daughters and 6 grandchildren!
Bro. Kyle Gulledge
Associate Pastor and Minister of Music
Bro. Kyle serves as our Associate Pastor and Minister of Music. He and his family joined Southview in August of 2011. Kyle brings with him 20 years of ministry experience, ten of those years pastoring churches. He has pastored churches in West Texas and in the Dallas area. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Red River Valley Bible Camp in Paris, TX and coordinates and directs an annual Bible Conference there every July. Kyle has been married to his wife Leah since 2001. They have two sons, Clayton and Garrett.
Bro. Jacob Brown
Bro. Jacob joined the Southview Staff in 2015, after graduating from Criswell College. He has worked in ministry since 2004 in various capacities; most recently as Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Trenton in Trenton, Texas.
Michella Moseley is currently serving as our Children's Director. She was born and raised in this church. She is an Alvin High School alumni, and has a Bachelor of Science from Sam Houston State University. Michella is married to Todd Moseley and is blessed with two beautiful, creative, and uniquely opposite children — Sydney and Trevor. In August of 2011, Michella began serving the Southview Children's Ministry (encompassing 2 year olds – 6th grade). "What an honor and blessing to be serving in the church that I grew up in."
Linda joined the staff in 2014 and joined the Southview family in 2015. A graduate of the Art Institute of Houston with a degree in Interior Design, God has brought her on a very circuitous route to this point in her life. She enjoys her job and the people with whom she works. Shortly after she joined the staff, she met the building superintendent and they are now happily married. She has two grown daughters, Madi and Tori.
Ginny joined the Southview family in 1997 and immediately began serving in the Children's Ministry. She served as Children's Director from 2000 to 2008, at which time God called her to serve in this Ministry Assistant position. Ginny has also completed her Bachelor of Science Degree at Sam Houston State University. She is married to Clint Goebel and they are the proud parents of Taylor Grace, Hannah Rae, and Emily Ann.
